  1. Dear Michael,

Congratulations on a fantastic web site - I have spent quite a bit of time there.

I manage the Dance Division of the New York Public Library which houses the largest dance archive in the world. I was hoping that I might be able to chat with you about some of the artists you know in the b-boy community and see if there is anything that the Library can do to help preserve your collective history.

If you'd like to chat further you can respond to me at this e-mail address or you can call me at 212-870-1655.

Hope we get to chat and congratulations again.

    Best wishes,

    Linda

  2. just want to reach out to you and thank you for telling the story about us in the streets of the bronx back then.My name is Izzy and i'm one of the dinosaurs from 183rd. I was originaly with the mexican crew but i eventually gravitated to TBB. Unfortunatly i made alot of bad decisions and ended up in prison for alot of years. Not too many people can say they witness Jimmy Lee rockin at the gym in Elmira back in 83. I was there along with representitives from all dance crews from the five boroughs.I have a picture of Lime,Jimmy and whiteboy George, that they took on that day...they are three original TBB members. I of course am an original TMC so that is what i repped. I'm just elated to hear you mention the Mexican Crew because they were definetly a force to be reckoned with. Thank You!
